What's a good way for me to lose some weight?

OK, guys, I really need your help here! I really need to lose some weight, but I've got no idea how I can. Magazines always say different things, and you can't always trust what you see on TV or the internet. If you guys have any ideas (and proof that it works, please) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out! Just wanted to add some info: I could also use some help on protein. I'm a vegitarian, but I also have a lot of allergies.... hope that doesn't change your answer!

Well, carbs like bread, pasta, rice, noodles, and bread are good for you but they add a lot of wieght around the tummy. If you can cut down on those foods you should begin to lose a few pounds with exercise. If you drink juices or pop, cutting those out is another way you could lose weight, no juck of course :/ no red meats like beef, only chicken and fish.

I once went on a self made diet in which I filled myself up on fruits and veggies and by the end of the 10 days I lost 6 pounds! Might not sound like a lot but it's a good start. Healthy eating and healthy living will get you to lose weight, I wish you the best of luck

any excersise is good(: or any type of dance also eating healthy and no late night snacks! cause if harder to digest food when your sleeping go on a run or a jog or do situps/crunches even swimmings really good! try protein shakes if you want they taste kind of gross but theyre so much better for you then chips or cookies even some fruot makes you gain wait! cut down on salts and sugars and what not... and yes these things really do work(: ive lost some weight lately and my stepmoms a personal trainer so she tells me stuff like this so i know it works(:

BLARGH, sorry! :P alright, what I was trying to say was...the best way to lose weight is really just to watch what you eat and exercise reguraly, find something fun, like dancing or swimming so it doesn't feel like a chore...drink lots of water and eat metabolism-boosting foods, like nuts and kiwis :) just remember, eat enough! if you don't, your body will go into starvation mode, and hold onto every calorie you eat, which will make you gain weight! whew, alright, all done with THAT, good luck! :)
