Should I use the Jane Eeyre technique on my 4 year crush?

The Jane Eeyre technique is mentioned in the Princess Diaries books. You aren't supposed to chase the guy, but you're supposed to get him jealous. I don't know if that's possible for me, cuz I always hang out with my crushes as if they were my friends! My friend says it's a good idea, and that's what she's doing to her crush, but I still don't know!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

getting him jealous won't always help. sometimes it will make him think your not interested and dont flirt with him and someone else it will look slutty. have you taken the direct approach already like flirting and showing him that your interested? because if so it could work. if not try that first:thumbup:

i have the same problem, i always hang around with my crush's as friends. Making them jealous doesn't always work. i was told by my mates to tell him that i liked him, so i did and everything is going great although we arent going out...yet :P. So, if you are confident enough to tell them how you feel, go for it =)

Flirt with your crush, then ignore him for a day. It will make him chase after you.

Hmm guys do like the thrill of the chase. You said that you hung with your crush like you guys are friends, does your crush treat you like a mate or flirt with you?
