Step1 Try an ice treatment. Place a few towels wrapped ice cubes or a cold compress on the offending area to help minimize the appearance of the pimple. Do this for a few minutes, several times a day.

Step2 Dab a pit of toothpaste (the non-gel variety, like colgate.) directly onto the pimple before bed at night. It will draw out the impurities and dry out the blemish.

Step3 Homemade cleanser. Create your own facial cleanser right in tour kitchen with 1/4 cup of baking soda and four tablespoons of warm water. Stir the solution vigorously and work into your skin the way you would a traditional cleanser. Rinse and repeat twice a day.

Step4 Aloe vera. Dabbing a bit of aloe vera directly onto the pimple can also help clear it up. Because aloe vera is clear, it's better to apply it to the pimple in the morning and the toothpaste at night.
