I need tips on starting my own hair extension line.

I love clip in hair extensions. So do lot's of girls in my area they come to me to put in their extensions sew on the clips teach them how to style them. I don't just want to run to my local beauty store purchase some and sell them to other girls that wouldn't make much sense. But I want to be able to hand make or sew my very own extensions. The biggest problem being I don't know where to even begin. I've researched books and online and I can't seem to find an answer. How do I make real human hair extensions myself? I need to know what kind of hair I need to buy obviously human hair but is there a certain kind from a certain place that has good quality? What exactly are wefts and how do I make them? I've personally expirenced that the thicker the hair is from top to tip the better life and quality you get out of it so what is the trick to achieving that thickness? I know my answers may be a bit vague I'm trying to start out so any advice, links,or books are appreciated.
