Help please; boyfriend issues (14 years)

Well im going to high school in September, and I have been dating this kid for 8 months. He really grew on me and I love him lots.. but i'm scared we will separate in high school? I at least want to be friends with me and want him to be in my classes and stuff but I dont know :/. Should i break up with him during summer? I would only date him if I had classes with him or lunch.. so complicated /: :(

If you really like him then you shouldn't just dump him because you might not have school together. There are lots of ways to make a relationship work even if you don't have a lot of classes together. You could wait till the end of summer and see how your classes work out - if he's worth it, you should at least try to make it work.

I agree. You should date him because you care about him, not because you want to win a popularity contest and show off your bf to your classmates. You sound uncertain about your relationship, ask yourself why you are doubting it. Spend time in the summer with friends or just the 2 of you to strengthen your relationship so it will remain strong during the school year. You're only 14, if you don't want to date him, don't stress out. You can still be friends and have fun without the added tension of having to keep a romantic relationship :)

i dont think you should break up with him if you dont have classes with him... like said below, it sounds like your unsure, im gonna be a freshman this year too, im 14, and my boyfriend is 16, a junior... we wont even be going to the same highschool but we'll make it work and i think you can too... theres after school and weekends and stuff like that you can do simple things like hangout at the park or at your or his house... or go to the movies or a local pool or something... good luck with your decision!

Ok, but even if you don't have classes together, you can still make it work. If your really commited to this guy, you will find a way to make it work. If you are not willing to make sacrifices to see him, then maybe you aren't really into him as much as you wish you were.
