WHERE to get a "scene" haircut.

ok so ive had a few questions about this kinda topic and i convinced my mom 2 let me get my hair cut somewhat like hayley william's (from paramore) when it was orange aka "scene". i tried getting my hair cut and showed the hairdresser tons (like 10-15 different angles and variations) of the hair i wanted and asked her to cut my hair like that...i ended up with three layers the shortest of which is past my chin...NOT what i wanted. so the point is i need a good place 2 get this "scene"ish haircut in jacksonville florida, preferably near jacksonville beach. if you know a good place thatd b great! thanx!

lol, you cant just ask for a scene cut unless you go to some fancy place. Just tell the people you want layers all the way through with short layers on the top. Tell them to thin it. then tell them to razor all of it for an edgy look. if you want a fringe, then just ask for it. don't go in saying you want scene hair, they might not know what that is lolz

any place is good as long as you describe exactly what you want. say you want really short choppy layers and show them on your hair how short you want them. it'll be much easier than looking at a picture because they'll know exactly what you want whereas in a picture it can sometimes be hard to tell how short the layers are.

first of all visit all the one's you can find

second look for someone who has a scene or emo style that works there

and make sure you explain you want layers and a semi full bang that's texturized and longer off to the side

what you need to do is throughly explain what you want and show the pictures if they dont give you what you want you demand they fix it =]

try showing pictures and explaining it over and over to tthe stylist. if the stylist does it wrong dont be affraid to tell them that usually they will be able to fix it or you will get your money back

good luck sweetie

Yeah thats right.... I've gone through the same thing, I went and showed the lady about 5-4 pictures of how i wanted my hair but the lady didnt get it and cut it completely different and I was mad! she practically chopped my hair off so yeah you'll have to REALLY explain yourself CLEARLY cus obviously I didnt and i ended up with the haircut i didnt want at ALL.... Hope I helped? but try to go to a salon that looks like they might know what your talking about..... or that there are some rocker/emo/scene-ish type people working there lol
