Hair colouring for black hair?

I have black hair, like every asian does. And i'm sick of it, but i do understand that asian people (especially my skin toned people) only look good with black hair, unlike white sknned people it is hard to look good with different i think i'm going to get highlights, lowligts or underlghts and keep my black...i was thinking red and honey brown highlights.i'm not sure if it'll suit me...most asians get that goldy coloured highlight(s)...i don't want to be the same...would dark purple look good? i don't do you think i should change my colour? highlights? underlighte? lowlights? which colour/s? (p.s im nearly 14, i just have an immature face...( you can't see the pctures so ill cut them in half and post them seperatley...:D

in case you cant see the writing in this pcture to your left it says "this is my real skin colour", the next pic... this one says "this was taken in the light, wth a rubbish webcam...but it makes me look lighter:) you can seemy hair better..."

I agree with myradiosayslala , purple seems unnatural, you want to find a highlight that'll bring out your features and make your face glow. That's why most asian people tend to stick to lighter colours. I think of it as, brown-ish complexion with lighter colours, gives the illusion of even lighter skin, where as lightly complexified people get darker colours, to accentuate the face. such as if a lighter toned person got aqua highlights, they'd look even lighter 8-|:|:o;):)

ps i think you look just like a 14yr old to me but then again i'm 25 about 11yrs older than you lol

lighter colors like gold and light browns will lighten your face and define it more (ps i like just doing 5 foils on the top of my head kinda chunky so the bottom stays the natural color)

i was thinking about doing gold and red hightlights and i think that wouldn't look too bad on you but i will say your black hair is really pretty

i would almost say try getting a wash first and make it a blueing or red one. you can even just do the top layers if you want to try it out or just your bangs

i would maybe even just do chunks where your bangs and about 6 other chunck sections on top are a different color

have your hair cut into an inverted bob

but this will mean you have to straighten it everryyy morning, and you cannot tie it back, but, then if you get a side fringe, and the side of your fringe have very thin strands of different shades purple highlights
