proactive never really works

try benzac cream its really good and some face masks are good but idk if he would like that

if his skin is really bad try goin to see a dr and they can perscribe him with antibiotics for his skin thats what i do and my skin has never been better

i no how much acne sucks but there are lots of diff options out there

first of all he must ask a dermatologist about it but i know people who use hormonal treatment like pills and stuff to control acne, or else antibiotics but since these usually are given with a prescribtion it is best if your boyfriend consults a doctor or skin expert about his problem. but even while taking the medications he must continue towash his face so as to keep the oil balance which causes acne.

If he has severe acne then I think topical treatment probably won't cure his acne

You should suggest him to see a dermatologist because he could get an expert diagnosis and if is acne is severe they could give him a prescription for antibiotics and pills to help cure the acne

hope this helps :)

It doesn't matter if he washes his face alot. Tell him to go to his GP (doctor) and he will prescribe something, however, it's probably just his genes and it's puberty.

To be honest, I had severe acne also. I used Pro-Activ for a while, but it completely ruined my skin and basically I had a sun-burnt looking face + cystic acne. I now use Cetaphil Daily Cleanser & I use a baby brush to exfoliate. I pump about twice onto the baby brush. I thoroughly wet my face and use the babybrush/cleanser in a circular motion. I rinse it off after I do it to my whole face and apply Apple Cider Vinegar/Water mixture and leave it on. Repeat in the morning.
