How To?

well for personal reasons i need to be homeschooled! but my mom doesnt know how i live in texas and need to know quick! how can i be homeschooled in the state of texas if im in the tenth grade????

Ive been homeschooled all my life! and im going to college a year or two earlier then if i was in public school so im happy that i was HS:) I dont how do you make it legal? Or the best way to teach?

first she needs to be in contact with the school. you'll need the books still and you're still going to have to go to school to take the sat's and stuff like that.

but she needs to contact the school and have them hook her up she may even be able to talk to the health department

I had one friend that was homeschooled and he told me that his mom had to get certified to teach... then she has to document all your hours and times so that they can prove you are getting the right amount of hours for education. then of course you have to take your SATs and ACTs or what not..

not sure about texas?? my mom home schools my little brother...all she had to do was go to the school district you live in and get a form, fill it out and it says what materials you need in order to home school..etc...I live in Pennsylvania so I am not sure if that's how Texas does it or not?
