About
I am currently 19 and in college. I still get people asking me if I am a freshman in high school so I joined to help get some hair and makeup ideas that were cute and young but mature at the same time, so I at least look my age.

What are some good ways to help tone up your thighs?

I don't need to loose any weight, I just want to find some ways to tone up my bun and thighs. Also what are your favorite ways to work out? I am pretty active, I just want something new to switch up my routine. Thanks

hey!!

well i think any exercise in which you move your legs is good for toning up tighs like walking, leg-ups, squats, jogging, kicks, cycling, swimming, doing the doggie-is-peeing exercise (when you stay on the floor on all fours like a dog, then raise your leg to the side keeping it bent for a number of times like 20, and look like a dog that is peeing, repeat on each leg), dancing, staying flat on your stomach and raising your legs as high as possible for a number of times. sry but i can t think of more.

I love to run and doing hurdles helps. Anything where you can use your legs a lot will help. And stretching will definitely help to. My fave morning workouts are paper towel stretches; raise your legs and arms and head off the ground and hold it for as long as possible. this is also good for abs. You should also dance and move your hips a lot. hope it helps.

hmm...walking or running helps...i would rather walk personally...stair climbing...leg lifts (laying on your side lifting your one leg up and down...with or without resistance), squats...swimming if there's a pool available...movement in general :]

I've been riding horses 5-6 days a week and it definitely tones my lower legs a lot. I also do piloxing (pilates+boxing) exercises 3-4 times a week and it works wonders. There are lots of pilates exercises you can find online or in magazines.

Here are a couple great examples of piloxing workouts I found on the Seventeen magazine webpage:
