What are some ways to lose weight in a quick, HEALTHY, effective way?

My doctor has made it official that I am over weight, which I already knew, just now that it is getting to the point where I'm being told to take care of myself, I really want to start taking that advice.. I have already lost 8lbs, and it took me 4 months, now I need to lose about 45 more, in 5 months. I want to be down to my ideal weight, 125lbs, like I was in the picture by June of 2011, or atleast within an 6lb range. I weigh 170lbs now. I've asked multiple people, inculding, but not limited to, my doctor, my health teacher, and my gym teacher, for some basic guidelines, but they didn't help much. I really just want the quickest, healthiest, most effective ideas. Eating habits, exercise, times frames, schedules, anything? I really have no idea where to go from here. I'm willing to work as hard as I have to. Please and thank you. (:

First, think about what you eat and drink and gradually replace it with healthy alternatives. If you like soda, try mixing seltzer water with 100% fruit juice. Drink water all the time, it will flush out your system, but it's annoying to have to pee all the time. Take some time to stretch when you get up if you don't have time to do a full exercise routine, but you should really make time to do this if you are serious about getting healthier. Check the labels on the food you eat, avoid foods with high fructose corn syrup and try to go for all natural.

count your calories check out www. its cool i have the app on my phone but ya eat over 300 calories for breakfast and snack as the day goes on to keep ur metabolism going.... im over weight to and like you im tryin to go from 155 to about 125
that and the light yogurt.... advoid bagels

If you eat healthy and exercise you can take green tea extract pills and they help speed things up or just drink green tea in the morning that helped me a lot.

Although i maintained a healthy weight for most of my life, my body seemed to undergo an irreversible change after having my lovely children.
