How do I turn my light redish hair with some blond highlights completely blond without dying it?

I recently went to the salon to turn my redish hair blond and all they did was give me blond highlights that barely made any differnece! It was 100 and I don't want to damage my hair by dying it again. How do I get my hair completely blond without bleaching it or dying it?

My real orginal hair color is blond but it started to turn brown so I dyed it rich brown months ago, it slowly faded to red and I hate it! I want my bond back :(

your gonna have to dye it hun. some people will say oh lemon juice blahbla but honestly its really not a good way to do it as you have to leave it on so much longer so it makes your hair corse and damaged because it has been under a process for so long.

how blonde you wana go will change the % of peroxide that will be in the dye, the more peroxide, the blonder you will go. :} just after you dye it, make sure you LOOK AFTER it, invest in a GOOD conditioner, something that is made for hair that has been processed. Bleaching your hair once wont mess it up honest, altho i quote this on every one asking this question, i bleached my hair 7times in one day and then dyed it brown the next and it was intacked - if not a little damaged, it still survived. Just don't be scared. X X X

it works really good.

but you should wash it first.

then while your in the shower, poor it in your hair.

if i were you, i'd do it before you go tanning(outside) or go to the beach or something[: i've tried it before.

Well, summer is coming up..and when I was little my mom used to spray something called "sun-in" in my hair to give in a blonder tone.

Just spray it in and go outside for a couple hours a day, and it should lighten it up a bit..

But not completely blonde.

If you want it COMPLETELY blonde, you will have to bleach it.

i dont think going blonde will suit you. have you thought of going brown? you could stay the same depth, just change the red tone to a brown one, then put a few high lights in? i think that would look better. maybe thats why the hairdresser wont dye it blonde?
