remember that celebrities have top make-up artists do their make-up, and that pic looks photoshopped. best thing to do is have a clear face, and get a good foundation for your skin type and find the best way to apply it. like with a foundation brush. no one can be perfect, and when you see most pics with beautiful hair, face,etc... chances are they were photoshopped.

Unforach celebraty pics r mostly air brushed or there make up is done professtionally.......... Well you need to find a foundation to suit your skin tone and make sure its a good one..... I use Mineralized satinfinish wih SP 15 by mac... my skin is extremly pale (de girl in the shop tryed on 9 different foundations b4 she foun 1 pale enough for me!!! ) so i use it in the shade NC15 but your skin probably isnt as pale so you could go for a darker one............ I find Mac ones the best................ they might be a bit on the expensive side but the last ages and look great :) No one is ever going to look like a perfect little barbie doll xxx

You are aware, that most models, even on model mayhem, especially for portraits, get their pictures retouched and smoothed so that their pores aren't so obvious and it looks just like that?

Once you're aware of that, are you doing anything to minimize and reduce your pores? Primer primarily is used so that the makeup glides on smoothly over your face and isn't in contact with actual skin. It may be that your pores are too visible, Some people managed to get a smooth application when using blemish balms to reduce pore size and a more natural look with mineral foundation.

This is a before and after of a model picture that this lady (from her deviant art) retouched.

You can tell the difference in skin texture and everything. Don't believe everything you see. Or you'll end up piling on more makeup than necessary. As long as you keep your pores small, and your skin smooth ,then primer and all the rest should go on smoothly as well, resulting in a celebrity like foundation application.
