what should I do about my friend?

Tonight I made plans to go clubbing with my sister, her boyfriend, and 3 friends to go clubbing. 2 girls have canceled due to an understandable emergency and now my 3rd friend is telling me she doesn't think she can go to, but her excuse is crap IMO. Wemade these plans over a week ago and the other day she was teling me she is unsure b/c freind of hers decided to throw a last minute party for tonight. My firend is obese and just found out she has high blood pressure yesterday. today she is complaining that she has a headache and does not think clubing would be the safest thing. Now according to a few websites, I read that is ok to still go clubbing with high blood pressure, as it provides a way to execise more. I really want her to come out tonight since lately she has been in a bit of a rut and she is fun . Acording to facebook someone asked her about a party tonight and she said yes to it. Is this girl being insincere? I just don't know what to do? I don't want to be a 3rd wheel!

It sounds like your friend is slightly insecure. You mentioned that she is obese, and she's probably not happy about that. She might not feel comfortable with going clubbing - finding out that she has high blood pressure could have been the last straw that changed her mind. You should talk to her about this and find the source of the problem. She did make this plan over a week ago, but you don't want to force her to do anything that she doesn't want to do. If you really don't want to be a third wheel, you could always invite another friend along at the last minute.

No my friend did not come, she ended up going to the other girl's party. It's fine though, I ended up having a goodtime, even without any of my friends being there.
