Is my cardigan too bunchy around my waist? Should I get a smaller size or wear a different belt?

I am getting back to my pre-baby body and am trying to get back to wearing cute clothes and not just sweats all the time. I don't have a strong sense of fashion, though. I feel like this cardigan is too bunchy around the belt and have thought about going back to get a small size. A friend suggested a wider belt, but it seems like the thinner belt are more in style right now. The colors are a bit off in this picture. The cardigan is light peach and the dress is grey on top and black on the bottom. I also feel like I need a longer necklace, but I'm not sure how long. Help!!

Haha, don't worry I don't have the greatest sense of fashion either. From what I'm seeing I think the whole outfit looks great, but I think there's a tad bit to much going on. Have you ever tried to just lose the belt all together? I think that might help....Well, whatever you decide to do good luck! Btw, you don't look like you've had a kid at all, you're so thin! (:

Yes. Losing the belt would definitely be the better option if you plan on wearing this cardigan. Or if you buy a different cardigan, try it in a bright color, and try to find a more cropped cardigan to help accentuate your waist. You look fabulous! Congrats(:

You know, I actually like this. I have a grey version of it. Instead of a belt I always tie the ends together. It looks quirky and kinda like a little bow in front, much more fitting too. I feel like where it so long it you just tie it would look great. :)

Thanks so much for the answer! I've actually had two babies. :)
I've thought about losing the belt and might just do so if I can't find a smaller size in the cardigan.
