How can you make your hair grow evenly?

I think about a year ago I had bangs, and a portion of it still hasn't grown along with the rest. It keeps growing unevenly. How do I make it grow normally again? Is cutting it very short the only option?

I think yes..:( you just can't stop the longer sections grow slowers and the rest quicker. However, a professional hairdresser might help you....:) If you have a hairdo like on the picture it's pretty cool why would you want it uniform?

Hi Seranya,

Growing your hair normally can be a long and tiresome process, and the growth of uneven hair can make it that much more distressing. Uneven hair growth can be caused by the food you eat, your levels of stress, and the amount of moisture that your hair is receiving and just plain old genetics as well , for reference check out http://www.forhair.com/Articles/Influencing_Hair_Growth.htm .

However, If you are currently experiencing uneven growth, take a look at your lifestyle as a first step to diagnosing the problem. After that, look at how you care for your hair, and the way that your parents’ hair grows, as well.
