what i do is hand stitch with a needle from the inside of the pants (not the outside) and stitch it up the hole one way and go back to the point you started and what i do is cut the thread from the inside and triple knot the thread you ended with to the piece of thread you started with in the beginning...i have washing my clothing over and over again and my stitching never came out or got loose :) hope this helps!

yea i would stitch it back and forth a couple times to make it strong and to make the not it's like when you first tie the knot in the niddle thread

or atleast when i thread a needle i put it through the hole then let the needle swing in the middle of the thread, i take the two ends and hold them together in one hand. i wrap that piece around and make a loop, then i put the two ends in the middle and leave the loop about the size of my finger. then i roll the side that i just wraped the thread around, between my fingers a second then pull the end making a nice big thick knot

when you finish sewing you can push the needle through the fabric and pull it out the same side but DON"T pull it ALL THE WAY and leave a loop just infont of your needle. then put your needle through that loop and pull the thread connected to the back of the needle to tighten the first loop and make a new loop. then put the needle back through that loop and pull the thread on the other side of that again to tighten it. continue that a few times then cut the thread and pull it all taunt it'll be a nice tight knot
