I agree with Jools, get it done at the hairdressers. Yes it may be cheaper to do it home, but bleaching your hair is serious business. First of all, since your hair is dark brown it will probably need to be bleched more than once, as most dark hair goes quite arangy after being bleached.

And since you'll need to bleach more than once, there's a good chance that your hair will end up in a really bad condition. The bleach used in salons is less harmful and more effective. Have a look around a try and find a hairdressers that do cheap colourings.

And i think the bleach is called amonia peroxide, but i'm not sure.

Hairdressing bleach, and you'd need to bleach it TWICE if its very dark.

I'd also suggest getting a leave in conditioner and a hair mask etc because after this your hair will be incredibly dry.

You can get the bleach at the hairdressers or at Boots/Superdrug.
