i would ask for money! Since your not sure right now, you can buy clothes or you can wait until you really want something. I woul not ask for gift cards cause ur limited to just that store. with money you can get around!

Happy earlier birthday!:D

Well, I like the whole "Gimme the money for me birthday!" but I think that takes the joy out of a gift! I honestly think you should ask whoever wants to give a gift..."Well, how about you make a gift money limit, and we go out shopping together?" Make a day of it! Go do something like the spa together. Go to Barns & Noble to read and drink Starbucks...

People want to know you have a good time or get a good gift when they put the effort out to do those things. I think if you made plans it'd be killing two birds with one stone. My sisters and I do that all the time. A couple years ago, they folded 100$, put it in styrofoam peanuts in a box, and made me search for it. Then they took me shopping wherever I wanted! Honestly, I thought that was the best gift.

ask for something cool but you know hat your parents would approve a laptop or normal computer, a shopping spree at your favourite places, anything which your parents told you that they would give you when you are 13 (pierciengs, tattoos and others)
