basicly what i do is put eyeliner around my eye (top bit only) then get a tiny brush and smudge the eyeliner and it gives you a smokey look if not add a little bit of grey/black eyeshadow or too finish the look off add some eyeliner on top it looks good {:

How many colors does it have it in? To create the smoky eye look:

1. apply your foundation, and over your eyelids too, to create a base.
2. Apply the COLOR shade of eye shadow on your lid.
3. Apply the darkest color in your crease and a little higher not too much.
3. Place the highlighter usually a white or the lightest color right underneath your brow and in the corner of your eye where you tend to get sleepies.

Also if you have an even darker color you can go from the outter corner of your eye and just go over your other dark color (not the actual color on your lid.)
-It's all about layering. The darker you want it the more you put on.

Here are some smoky eye attachments

It helps if you have the right brushes. You can find a cheap smokey eye brush (smudge brush) from walmart or kmart. The effect of the smokey eyes becomes real when you take the brush and pull out. Basically stretching the eyeshadow out. I'll try and see if I can find a video to explain it better.

Here's one:

If you look up panacea81 on youtube, she does a whole crap load of makeup tutorials, I'm actually subscribed to her :P lol.
