I'm so frusterated..

I'm completely fed up with my hair right now. I almost cried, yes:cried, because of how bad my hair looked this morning. I know what you're thinking.. "Oh, I'm sure it didn't look that bad," Yeah.. it did. I'm tired of styling it and damaging it and killing it so much. I just got a haicut Friday and I either still have split ends or they're back again. I really wish I could embrace my natural hair style but I can't because a)It's way frizzy. I've tried A LOT of products that really don't work b)I've got wayy too many layers for wavy hair so it looks really bad... pleaseeee help. Tell me everything you can possible imagine that might help me|:

Taking a Vitamin E a day can make your hair healthyer

Don't use any heat products for a month.

theres cheap hair masks that you can buy at any drugstore , i think you just leave it in for 20 min then wash out to better looking hair

aww you sound like me in high school. i have really wavy hair that doesnt dry very pretty naturally and to work with it means killing it. I would suggest grow your hair out. that has helped me a ton. no bangs, slight layering (my hair's very thin) and learning how to deal with wavy hair. get a good shampoo and conditioner, i like bedhead products, and get a good leave in conditioner and/or treatments you can keep in your hair to calm the frizz and relax the waves. then start from teh beginning. instead of looking at your hair like it needs to be straightened or it needs to be brushed or something in it, start with it exactly how it is even if you think it's ugly. it may mean getting past iedals out of your mind and start thinking of ways to accept your hair as wavy and get good looking wavy hair. good conditioners and creams will help. stay away from gels and mousse. maybe use a spray for root volume and experiment. see what happens when you air dry it when it up in a bun I do this and it looks great but my hairs super long now) try drying it with a hair dryer, try partially drying it then letting it dry natural, try a diffuser, try scrunching it with a towel to reduce frizz. you want large chunky waves not little strands all each individually curled. it may take some time and effort but you gotta find out what works for you. i promise it will all fall into place eventually. next time you go in for a trim ask teh stylist whats the easiest way to style your hair without using too much heat. its their job to show you how to make it look good.

have you tried to use some clay?

you use just a lil (a lil goes a long way) and warm it up between your hands then run it through your hair until it feels lightly sticky not mucky

and that extra weight can help tame the masses SOMETIMES
