i normally do a smoky natural kind of eye but i want to try something different that will still let my blue eyes look good... any ideas?

have you tried voilet/purple colors, neutral/taupe colors, and blue shades that are darker than your natural color? pastel colors in pink and lilac look good. you can increase the amount of the lighter color onto your crease and brow bone. you can also use shimmery eyeshadows for fun. you can put a white/cream almost white color on corners of your eyes nears your nose to help make your eyes bigger.
I have blue eyes too, so the color that I think looks the best with them is brown or antique brown, I put a light peachy color along my browbone, then liquid eyeliner on top.
Also redish coper looks great on blue eyes! If you apply it correcly it gives you an exotic look,
