Expecting my first...any tips?

Okay guys so i already asked this question but i dunno where it ended up so here it goes... im expecting my first baby and im almost 19 i graduated school, im living with the father of the baby and we are already to go and i still have a couple of months left so im not worried about being ready for the baby cuz we can support the baby when it comes umm the question i have is that now that my due date is getting close i keep having weird dreams about going into labour and being along going to the hospital its kinda weird cuz i know how to get a hold of everyone but im scared to go into labour, for anyone that has already had a baby what are some things that helped put your mind at ease about going into labour while home alone? or going into labour at all?

if you're worried it may not completely go away until you've had the baby

but it will be fine as you said you do know all your numbers. i can tell you i had braxton hicks and i didn't even know i was having them they felt kind of like gas under my ribcage. it would hurt just slightly then when i got induced that feeling started to amplify and i realized then that's what i had been feelings

when you go to the hospital you have to get 1 bag of liquids in you before they can do an epidural (i totally recommend getting that!!!) the longer it's in the less control you'll have over your legs. i ended up having to get a c-section because izzy was stuck in a funny position. but i liked the c-section and i healed pretty fast. the first week if i got up too fast i would get that burning sensation from pulling on the stitches but i think i got over it very well.

and it's been 3yrs now and the scar is gone. also i used to slather my tummy in coco butter (the pure stick i used is in my lists under 'stuff i use') and i didn't get one stretch mark!

ps don't forget to take tummy pics i had to set my own up on my back porch cause no one was there to help me lol

I believe you are having these nightmares due to your anxiety of having the baby. This is your first pregnancy so is kinda the fear of the unknown. This can happen to anyone ....with anything that causes your body mental stress.

I'm a mother of 2 girls-- 8 and 6 years old. So hopefully, I'm credible enough. haha!

That's perfectly normal, what you're going through. But the best thing you can do at this point is to relax. One should be in a happy and blissful disposition during pregnancy. Stressing about going into labor too much will do you more harm than good. It's essential to be psychologically prepared. Besides, there are a lot more important things you'd be dealing with AFTER the baby is out.

Well, good luck and congratulations!!
