Should I get scene hair?

I have black friends who have it and I use to my hair layered, but I really want something different.

Almost all my friends are white and they have scene hair too.

I just want a new look! HELP!!

These are pics of how I use to have my hair.... These pics are from 2008 & 2009, I don't wear glasses anymore, but my hair is still about shoulder length. I was thinking of doing some extension, but i want color too!

Yer, maybe some highlights, but natural and simple. Extensions are great and are perfect if you want long hair. I like the first picture, so maybe something like that again x

Well, the term 'scene' really isn't all that specific. Yeah, it's layered and kinda shaggy, but scene hair can be different lengths, textures, and can even be curly. And of course a black girl (or boy) can have scenish hair too. But I would try for something that doesn't just copy the white girls with scene hair, but gives it a bit of black girl flair. One thing you can do for example is to pick a color that's a little outrageous, link pink or purple, and mix it in for highlights. Here are a few suggestions plus two videos
