The Hunger Games! What do you think?

I recently saw The Hunger Games Movie. If you've seen the movie, or read the book tell me what you thought!

Give some Pros and Cons. And don't forget to check out my blog on the Hunger Games Movie Review. ;)

"May the odds me ever in your favor!"

Well, I haven't seen it yet, because I wanted to wait until the crowds die down plus I have 4 tests this week. So I will definitely see it on Spring Break. But I really loved all three books. I thought the plots were well developed and fast paced, the characters memorable, and the writing was good , much better than the "Twilight" books (at least I thought so). Overall, I think they were the best since the "Harry Potter" novels.

Katniss is a really great character, (and Jennifer Lawrence looks like her in my mind anyway) a real role model who you can relate to (even if I'm not much of a fighter :D). Because she's honest, loyal, strong, and cares about people. And the supporting characters are good too, although Peeta and Gale become more developed in the other two books. The reviews I've seen have been kinda mixed, sort of along the lines of "the movie is good, but the books were better." It's hard to capture all of a book in a movie, but it's still great to see the characters come alive on the screen.

The movie was pretty Good, but they took off a character which made me sad and they also took off one scene .

I'm obsessed with the books. I giggle and I cry while I read them. I am very excited to see the movie the movie, but if there's one thing I'm disappointed about overall, it's the fact that Peeta is so good and so far to where I've gotten (the middle of book 2) he gets almost nothing back, ESPECIALLY from Katniss. I may never be able to understand the psychology of her wanting to have him there to hold her tight at night and when he's there all she thinks about is Gale. But it was very well thought and Suzanne Collins is a genius. I could talk about this all day so if you'd like, chat me up!
Pros(of the book/books): the overwhelming emotion & anticipation as I go from page to page. The butterflies in my stomach when Katniss doesn't know what to say. The closeness of the characters in opposite to their never understanding each other.
Cons: The fact that so far for me, it's been a huge rollercoaster, mostly with downs. And I just can't help but think about the characters as real people, because they are represented in such a real way.
But daily, the books remind me of what could happen any day in the future, and it helps me find our everyday problems, such as simply worrying about what to wear to school in the morning, very very silly and unimportant.
What do you think (about the books) I will check out your blog on the movie to get a few heads up on what's expecting me when I hit the movies for it. :]
