Can anyone recommend a good flat iron?

I bought a wet to dry hair straightner a while ago.. i never really used it on wet hair just kept in on the settings for dry hair...but it has really dried my hair out and it has even broke off in some places... so i just need to find a good one that wont do this to my hair.

I have 3 but one of them sucks. The other two are called Revlon wet2straight (or something like that) and Conair Infinity.

I have a chi.

I use it every day, and I have EXTREMELY thick hair.

And most straighteners stop working after about 6 months, or don't work as well, but I've had mine for over two years and it still works just as well as it did the day I bought it. ;P

I also use this serum stuff in my hair to protect it from the heat because my chi only has one heat setting, and it gets REALLY HOT.

Also, for all my hair, it takes me 15 minutes to straighten it. ;D
