Ehh, I'm in 7th grade, I have some slight acne issues and some hair problems, both my head hair, and some unsightly female facial hair. Looking for some tips on those! ^_^

A number of things about hair.

1.My hair is mostly straight, except all my layers around the edges flare up. I straighten my hair, and if I work at it for about 30 minutes, I can get my hair not to flare. But this is very tedious, and I don't mind straightening a little, but having to do it for 30 minutes to make it decent really isn't something I enjoy. Before, my hair was longer and had no layers, and it was almost completely straight naturally. When I got my hair cut with many layers, it started flaring. So I think my best bet is to get a cut with few layers, that are all close together. But I'm also trying to grow my hair out, so I don't want to get it cut so short that I cut off my layers. Right now it's right on my shoulders when it flares, and an inch longer when it doesn't.

So how should a get my hair cut? I don't want layers, and I don't want to get it a lot shorter. And maybe sideswept bangs, if you look at my profile picture you can see if you think that will work with my face shape.

Before cutting it, try blow drying it straight. There are tonnsss of videos and tutorials online if you just want to google them.

the problem could also be your may not be the got a somewhat cheap one, it's not the best...i have a 30-40 dollar one, but i mainly use it for my bangs .... my sister has a 50 dollar one i think and when i straighten her hair (it's kind of between straight and wavy, so it's kind of poofy)...and it doesn't take long...15 minutes the most for her entire i think it's your straightener that's the problem.....but as for your haircut, since you want to grow it out, i would just get a like an inch off so you get rid of split ends

i have wavy hair if it's cut short it does wave outward or inward just depending on the side

longer hair the weight will hold it more straight

i'm able to just comb mine when i get out of the shower and my hair stays moderately straight

let it grow and later just get long layers like me
