Formal half up half down for LONG curly hair?

Okay, let's just say I'm Rupunzel when it comes to hair length. It goes down to about my buttocks and I stand about 5 foot 5 inches tall.

I'm looking for a nice but easy way to style my hair for a formal ball. I wanted something like this picture but there were no instructions on how to do the hairstyle. I usually just wear my hair down and I thought that this hairstyle would go perfect with my short round face by giving it height and it would be perfect since i dont have to curl my hair! (my hair is naturally this curly but i'm willing to bust out my curling iron or flat iron if i need to).

Does anybody know how to do this hairstyle or a website that can help me achieve a hairstyle like this? Thanks a bunch!

it looks like a french braid maybe twist each section before you blend it into the brade and leave half of the ends out to curl as you go to the next section to add in so you have have that messy ish look

but i like pulling up the hair around your crown and then curling that part in long bouncie curls then the straight hair you left out of the ponytail just curl the bottoms

and you can even use a pretty hair clip
