His name is Jakob. We just met this year. We're in the same Science class, and I honestly have NO IDEA how I feel about him. He's a little bit more than a friend, (We talk in class, we text, we occasionally flirt) but I wouldn't date him. He gets on my every last nerve, (He says nasty things to me, plays with my hair -without my permission- when I'm not looking, and, one time, he even slapped my butt!) but I don't want him to leave me alone. So, in a summary: We're friends. A bit more than friends, but I don't want to date him (or at least, I don't think I do...) He bothers me to no end, but I feel lonely, or empty, I guess, when he's not there. He makes me laugh and want to slap him at the same time! I'm confused! My friends say it's a love-hate relationship, but I just don't know. Someone please explain to me what I feel for him and what would be the best way to handle it?

you like the attention. it's nice to know you're wanted. and it's ok to flirt with someone knowing it's not going anywhere.
you can let him know he gets on your nerves and you'll never go out with him but you like playing with him : P

Maybe you do like him but you will not admit to it. You just want to see him as an annoyance but you do like his company. You do not have to date someone just bc you two are friends. you still can be just good friends.

Yeah he may annoy you time to time but if you truly like someone you like them for their little annoying habits/ things they do. It sounds like you do have feelings for him. Talk to him, see if he would like to be more than friends. If he does take it slow. :) Or if not why not ask him to like a trip to the cinema or something :)
Just let him know how you feel :)
As i said before Its all those annoying things people do that make you love them even more :)
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, but the weirdest thing happened to me today! I saw him in the mall, and I got BUTTERFLIES when he talked to me! Why do you think that happened?
Soz i didnt mean to send it twice lol
