what can i do to save my hair from my straightener???

i have a straightener that has worked forever and works GREAT... but it fries my hair... i cant really buy a new one right now exspecialy one with good quality...so do yew guys have ANY HAIR SAVING TIPS?

maybe, use a re-moisturing shampoo and conditioner, i like 'treseme's.' :]

also, without fail, always use a heat protectant on your hair before you blowdry or straighten it. ;]

Use a good heat protecter...the one I use is called DesignLine [[anything DesignLine is wonderful because that's what the hairstylists use.]]I bought it at my local salon and I've had it now for like a year and I still have it! It works really well and it only takes a few sprays :]

um i wld suggest getting the Instyler cuz its only 14.99 but amazing results and doesnt damage hair!!!

fashionist... do yew have an instyler yerself??? it sounds great but its so cheap it makes me question it... does it work good on curly hair? is it quick? and how long do tha results last?

i would worrie that your straightener is set on a too high of heat for your type of hair
