well keep in mind some hair doesn't hold a curl as well ( like mine lol)

but that large barrol roller should work. but look in my lists there's a girl in there i think it's called beachwave hair or mermaid hair it's pretty close to that. it's in the hair section. she's asian and it show a side view on the picture. there's a link on the right hand middle side of the list to get to her youtube page

BIG barrel curling iron and some holding product. curl it in spirals away from your face. add some hairspray. if your hair holds curl it will work. if your hair holds curl well it should stay. try not to straighten it too much before curling it-keep some if the natural curl in it before adding the curling iron

The most successful way that I have found to achieve those loose big curls is by using Big and Jumbo hot rollers. I do not even need to use product and the curls come out big and loose. I believe conair has a big/jumbo set for around $20. When you get the hot roller you roll them in away from your face like towards the back of your head vertically. Then clip them in and let them cool off. Finally, take them out and just shake your head and your done.( this is a how to video to explain more)

I agree with what every one has said. The larger curlers that you can find for fairly cheap work great. Also try a scrunching product/hairspray. Tousle Me Softly by Herbal Essences does NOT work.
