How Can i lose 20ish pounds in 1 month?

Im 14 years old 5'5 and 140 pounds my bmi is 28.7 and its not in a healthy range. i really want to lose 20 pounds by a parrty im planning on going to.

I Dont care if this is healthy or nott. :P i just need to lose weight.

So any ideas? Oh and also Im a veggitarian (:

20ish pounds in 1 month is not a realistic goal, also i think taking this attitude to weight loss is wrong. i knew a girl who had bmi in your range

and over 2 months shes brought it right down.

what you want to do is start an exercise activity swimming is a great one because it will also give you better more defined legs/arms. also count the calories you eat. just make sure your eating 2000 calories a day. if you think your parents feed you too much tell them.

you probably wont get 20 pounds off in a month but this way will lead you to a healthy lifestyle and you will get into shape over time and you wont have to anything drastic, it also will set up healthy habits that will help u keep in shape.

well its not going to be easy all you have to do is workout for at least one hour every other day and eat a healthy diet

Yea, you most likely would not beable to loose 20lbs. in one month. I have learned that being a vegetarian can be a very unhealthy lifestyle. For example my friend always had junk food, because she did not want to eat meat for dinner. Also, she always snacked on junk food inbetween meals. You need to have 3 medium size meals aday (maybe a veggie burger, salad, pasta) with a healthy snack inbetween. (Healthy snack would be a fruit or granola bar). :thumbup: Or you could try to eat 6 small meals aday. You could try calorie counting if your really that worried, but I don't advice it. Exercising is definitly a must!! Doing a 10 minute exercise routine each day would be just fine. Weather it be a crunches or running around. Throughout the day drink water. That would make you fuller faster. Also if you ever crave food between meals try chewing gum most likely that would curb your appetitie. Hope this helps.

oh and cardio i know it sucks but try it or if you want extreme you could try the lemonade diet that worked for me but i didnt know how to keep if off so i gained it back but it does work

it usually averages to about 5lbs a month

my bmi is about 28 and it say's i'm obese. i really dont' know how that could be if you look at me no one even calls me fat. i love my body and the curves and so do all my guys lol but oh well
