Well I'm not very good at this kind of stuff but I have a friend who lost a lot a weight just by eating a little less, drinking lots of water, and going walking. She would walk about a mile everyday. Now I know everyone's different but I hope this helps some! :)

Your BMI is pretty healthy but if you still want to lose weight you could try weight watchers. My friend tried this and it really worked for her - I think she lost about 15 lbs in under three months. It also taught her how to eat healthy, yummy foods. I also agree with hollebug that you should include some sort of exercise plan - physical fitness is crucial for maintaining a healthy weight. And lastly, set goals! You're going to need motivation, and if you feel like you can't push yourself, get someone to help you. You could join weight watchers with a friend or create a joint exercise schedule. This will help you keep on track.

if you cut out breads from your diet as well as salts, you'll find that you eat a lot less and you'll loose weight as well:) its simple things such as not eating a bun with your burger or hotdog or passing on the chips or ramen noodle soups since both are LOADED with salts. don't go insane because your BMI is very healthy, and remember to exercise (walking with a friend or anyone, jumprope, etc.) and drink water since it helps clear your system.
