How do I overcome my obsession with the way I look??

I am always worrying about what I eat and am always going to the gym. I stress if I eat something "unhealthy" and I make myself burn it off at the gym all the time. I almost never let myself have junk food but when I do I sometimes binge and beat myself over for it like crazy by pushing myself harder at the gym. Ex. I ate like a cinnamon bun thing that had lots of calories in it and because of it I made myself go to the gym for 2 hours and after that do more exercise at home. All of my friends and my family say its an obsession and I know it is but I am afraid of gaining weight or anything like that :S Besides that I count calories & exercise everyday and tend to eat lots of fruits and veggies and meat and all tht so i usually eat really healthy making sure I have good fats, carbs, breads, protein but I am obsessed with all health and exercise things. I make my family feel bad if they have junk food or if they don't exercise. HELP!

first i would actually look up how many callories is in the items you tend to like to 'treat' yourself too

then i would hope you realize if you can designate a certain amount and a certain time fraim these items are allowed that would be good

i love the weight i'm at but i treat myself. i try to make good decisions but i keep yummy sweets on hand that i can budget myself with

like how many oreo cookies and a half glass of milk i can eat and still feel like i'm not over eating then i stop. usually i eat about 4-5 cookies for a snack every few days

i only keep 1-2 types of treats in my house at any time

gummies are really good cause they don't have much stuff in them at all or fruit rollups

twinkies are another good low calorie treat

as i said figure out how often you think your body disserves a treat and how much your comfortable with. check into how many calories are in a serving and how many callories you can burn by just walking it off. lol

calories don't automaticly turn into fat either most of them turn into energy and at your age really that's probly where it's going you shouldn't really have to worry about that

i've gone health-crazy at one point but eventually i thought, hey I gotta live a little! lol I'm not saying you're insane, okay.. perhaps taking a it a bit too seriously, yes. And that's not a bad thing. It's your choice to be healthy after all. Just keep in mind that it's all about moderation. Besides, being an avid exerciser and just by looking at your physique (i saw your other pictures), you probably have a fast metabolism. I wouldn't be worried so much about those little treats.
