What are some things to do on a long car ride?

I am going on a long car ride to Michigan with my 7 year old sister and my mom, and it will take between 14 and 18 hours to get there. We are leaving soon, and I am wondering, what are some things to do on our long car ride? And what should I bring? Thanks! :)

Heey. I live in Michigan. Hahaa, anyway.
Bring a book? cards? play games on your phone? ipod? journal? draw? my dad's van has a built in dvd player so if you have one or a portable one or laptop, you could watch movies?
Personally.. when I'm in the car I would much rather stare out the window and look at the pretty landscaping and such. That's not a lot of fun on the highway though. You could sleep?

i hate long drives... i usually would bring a pillow to sleep, a couple books (i usually bring more then one incase i get bored of one), do you have an ipod? cause music or games on it work(: umm like said below a laptop or portable dvd player if you have one to watch movies or you can play games.... you can also play games with your sister and mom... you can do simple games like I Spy or you can take turns telling stories... or me and my sister like to play a story game where you say one word then her then you like: you: once her: upon you:a her: time ... it gets more fun haha trust me or you start with a word like 'football' and she has to say a word with foor or ball in it... like 'football' baseball' 'first base' 'first grade' you always have to use one of the words... if that makes sense haha hope i helped i would also bring snacks ^_^
