Keeping hair straight through the heat?

I have really curly hair and I like to wear it straight a lot. But now that it's summer I usually just keep it how it is since it doesn't look that bad. But I was wondering what things I could use in my hair to keep it straight and not start to curl /poof throughout the day.I've tried straightening creams, gel, wax, this mud stuff, hairspray. And it seems like nothing works. So would you guys know of anything that worked for you? Or if there's also a specific brand I should buy?

dang your like me T.T

Curlyyyyy hair> straighten it alot.

I'm still seaching and looking of stuff to use for my hair btw so I'll definatley tell you if anything has worked on me ;)

Sorry this isn't much of a help : [ ..But thought I'd let you know.. I shall look into it for curly haired ones!

I have used uhh Sun-silk De-frizz shampoo Its a green bottle.. It seems to work good on my hair It makes it really soft and not so frizzy. nd refines the curls so you won't have wierd annoying curls when you're straightening. .Have you tried like repairing/frizz conditioners..Probably T.T things that you see at the store that has to do with Frizz should work..Not just any hairspray or whatever.

well, i suppose you could try these two options.

1. get your hair permenantly straightened at a salon. your hair will be straight all the time.

2. when you straighten your hair in the morning, use an anti-humidity hairspray (or any of the garnier fructis anti-humidity hair products.)

hope i helped!!!

apply on hair (while is still wet) TIGI's anti frizz-it helps a lot. then use a heat protector while straightening, then apply some Pantene Pro V Frizz Control anti humidity hair spray. or use TIGI's Bed Head some like it hot-heat and humidity resitant shampoo

believe me, with your hair-the expensiver, the better. I tryed absolutely EVERYTHING from the usual store/drugstore and I finally found products that actually work in a hair salon. they are expensive but they're excellent!

so TIGI is my first choice for everything

Haha Thanks! I know, it's soo annoying! I got this stuff from bed head recently and it keeps parts of my hair really straight, but I would like my whole head to be straight!! Haha But I'll try the things that you said, hopefully they work. :D

Thanks!! I'm sorry that it's so late i'm saying thank you! But I tried those! They actually did help. What I recently found that was also a little bit cheaper is Straight Sexy Hair Smooth & Seal by Sexy hair. I found it at my hair salon. Maybe yours has it. It actually works really really well. I sprayed it into my hair before I straightened it and then went out when it was about 100 degree weather and man, it was humid. then when I got home my hair was still soooo straight! there were only a couple of flips but nothing drastic. :D Maybe you should try it!
