how can i do this to my hair?

see how at the ends of the hair in that picture its pointy? how do you do that? and what do you use to do it? i have been experimenting and practicing on dolls and stuff trying to do that but i dont know how. the ends always turn out looking kind of rectangulor instead of pointy or triangulor i that even makes sence. so..what do i use or how do i do it? thanks

if you take the picture to your hairstylist, she'll know what to do. i have to say, i love it when clients bring me pictures. it helps SO much.

the ends have to be texturized you have to cut upward into the bottom to make like layers that aren't blunt

then you can take a dime sized amount of putty and warm it up between your hands by rubbing them together to get it all warm then run it through your hair to make a thin coating.

then you can try teasing it a bit to get some more volume if you need it.

i have a longer version here

You have to have lots of layers and have the ends razored, but its all in the way you style it, it must be straightened really straight. If you go to a stylist show them the picture like musiclurver said then they will cut this for you and show you how to style it.
