Kind of an akward Q

Well, over the summer I started shaving my bikini line. The first time I shaved it I got a few knicks and cuts, but it was a smooth shave. I'm still shaving and now I'm not getting that smooth shave. :/ I can still see the hair, but I can't shave it off (idk it's kinda hard to explain). I'm also getting alot of big bumps (maybe ingrown hair). I don't know what I'm doing wrong...I exfoliate first, then I use either conditioner or shaving cream and then I shave. Maybe it's my razor? I'm using only a two blade razor....I'm considering waxing, but I know that hurts like a b****. Isn't there some kind of numbing gel that people use when their waxing?

i know what you mean ;p
Theres this cream called " emla " is a numbing cream you can get from most pharmacies or shops like boots :) Also having 2 paracetamols before waxing helps.. loads ;)
otherwise it hurts like hell :L

also if you have dark hair it'll be stronger and more secure. if i wax it doesnt' all come off.

i like to shave that area with a new disposable razer each time. i sometimes shave in the same direction not against the grain. and if i have it on hand i prefer to use baby oil to shave

i never wax down there, just shave. lol! yeah, i know it hurts like crazy so i'm too chicken to even try! a brand new razor does the job best since it goes on smoothly cutting down closest to the skin. like barbi mentioned, go in the direction of the growth not against. .that way hair doesn't grow back thick and coarse
