Facial products?

Okkay so I have a question...or two.

Are there any facial products, facial masks (Yes, they can be homemade or store bought) that you swear by? Like have you gotten a product (or made one) that you have automatically noticed a difference in your skin?

"Oh this pimple went away so fast" or "Oh these blackheads are gone". Ya know? Tremendous results!

Toners and moisturizer count too!

Secondly, I wanted to try St. Ives Apricot Scrub again. Would I beable to use this as a facial wash on an everyday basis? Or is it just like a once a week exfoliater?

Thirdly, is it bad to use facial washes, toners and moisturizers from different companies?

Example, You have a face wash from Neutrogena, a toner from Proactive and a moisturizer from some other company. (*I don't really use them, they are just examples).

okay, i've been using a lactic acid-based baby wash called LACTACYD (yes, it's actually for babies) on my face since like, i dunno, I was 13, i guess..and I know it's been keeping my face free from acne, cause i've stopped using it at one point, for 2 months maybe, cause i wanted to try this new face wash a friend was raving about, and uhm I just ended up with zits all over my forehead and chin. As soon as i got back to my old stuff, though I had clear skin again.

I'm currently on St. Ives too and I use it twice a week. I mean it's not very abrasive because the grains are fine but since my everyday wash (lactacyd) already has an exfoliating effect in itself, i think an additional face scrub might just rub me raw. lol. so i'd say facial scrubbing should be done about twice weekly or at least every other day, depending on how oily your skin is.

ideally, it's better to use products from the same line, but there sure is nothing wrong with going for different brands, especially if they work for you.
