Wash your hair with cold water and lemon juice helps too, just don't get it in your eyes! : )

I have used VO5 moisturizing oil weekly.. this helps replenish moisture to your cuticles and hair shaft. This will make your hair shiney. Also you can use a serum whenever you are styling your hair. This will also give you a very shiney look on your hair. Some people use BioSilk.. I used it too but it actually drys out my hair. So I would not recommend it. Dove or John Freida has many serums for your hair to make it shiney. Or you can use a hair rinse/glaze that will add shine to your hair.

For shampoos/conditioners what I've found good are Aussie and Dove.

Also if you have blonde hair you could use some lemon juice. If you have brown or red hair you could mix some honey in with warm water and after you shampoo/condition put that in your hair.

deep conditioning treatment :

after shampooing your hair as normal, apply a thick layer of conditioner to your head, pushing all your hair up so none is down and its all actually on your head..

wrap clingfilm round this.

keep this on for 55 mins, for the last 5 mins blast with the medium setting on a hairdryer, and then wash out.

do this once a week or once every two weeks :)
