Why is my shellac polish bubbling under the uv lamp?

I have been using the shellac base coat and top coat with no problems just to create a clear manicure, but decided to buy a colour and once the base coat had been cure I painted on a thing coat of the shellac and cured it for 2 mins and to my horror it had all bubbled ( a bit like what a paint stripper gun does to paint). The lamp is a 36 watt as when researched read this would be good enough to cure the gel and it does for the base and top coat so please can any-one shed some light as to why this is happening?

that's such a shame. i've had it happen too when i use color (not that often) it could be the heat or that the first coat wasn't dry enuf. humidity can be really awful on polish too. here's some links to help

Thanks ladies it's definately the lamp or product as it's the shellac system I am using not just ordinary nail polish but not had this before and wondered if anyone else had, had the same problem when using shellac and how they overcome it?
