How to make my hair more curlier..?

I just need basic tips .. I also heard that if you use conditioner it makes the curls loopy.. is that true?

I always mousse my hair so does the amount matter

Thanks in advance.

I have reeeeeally curly, thick hair but i prefer to have it more wavey and messy. But if you want it curlier then try brushing it before you wash it but not after. As soon as you have washed your hair get a towel and scrunch your hair in sections with the towel until it is damp but not soaking. Then scrunch your hair with your hands, add a little mousse (depending on how thick and long your hair is) but not too much because you don't want it to go all crispy. Then spray all your hair with hairspray while it is still quite damp and leave it. When your hair is dry spray more hairspray all over and scrunch and mess your hair up a bit :)

I work for Aveda & can tell you the tricks I know for curly hair! 1. only brush your hair when it's wet and has conditioner in it. 2. when out of the shower, towel-dry hair, but leave slightly damp, but try not to comb unless you desire more of a wave instead of your curliest curls 3. we love curl lotions and creams for a softer curl and gels tend to be a crunchier curl. (Aveda be curly and confixor cocktailed together are a great combo!) scrunch this cocktail from ends up towards scalp. 4. then scrunch hair w.towel to remove excess water. the less you touch your hair, esp w.the natural oils of your hands, the less frizzy that your curls will be. 5. blowdry w.a diffuser(the sock ones make hair frizzier), upside down for more volume and remember to keep from touching the curls too much! Hope that long-winded explanation helps!
