how to keep hair straight throughout the day??

i need a way to keep my hair straight all day without buying gels and all that other stuff. i have naturally wavy hair, i straighten it in the morning and within a couple of hours my hair is wavy again

The best to keep your hair straight 24 hours a day with out using gels or other products would be to have your hair permenantly straightened. It is usually good for about 2 years. I have had it done once and loved it. But now because my hair has grown out I use a straightening shampoo and a heat protectant conditioner and heat protectant spray. I have semi-curly hair and usually towards the end of the day it may start curlying very little but it mostly stays.

I guess you can try straightening your hair in small sections and go over it a few times. Making sure you straighten everything. Hopefully that helps you w/o product. ( Humidity will make your curl /wave back up!)

i have the same problem. so what i do is straiten my hair like i normally would. then spray hair spray over pieces of the hair and straiten that out really quick, just run through it once. since i have layers i just tease the top with a little wax, and it stays strait allll day with out one curl, and it's still soft(: it even lasted through a concert i went tooo, which was a mosh one. so trust me, it works.

There are shampoos and conditions that set your hair up for a straighter style. I love them, and also straight styling products!

it will help to use a hairspray w/o water in it

and anti-frizz spray can help but usually you're going to need to put some type of putty lightly on it
