The best thing you can probably do is eat really healthy (mostly fruits & vegetables, stay away from junk food!), run everyday about a mile. the longer you run, increase the distance by a little. dont start out with too much though, because you're body cant handle a sudden change. & Sit-ups & crunches will also help as long as you do those 2 things. =)
Running will help you loose belly fat, & the sit-ups & crunches will help to shape your stomach more.

I have the same problem. If you really want to lose weight heres what you have to do:

-Stop drinking soda and other drinks with large amounts of sugar and sodium. Try drinking water, about 8 glasses a day should work.
-Cardio is the best way to rid of fat. But you also want to tone your body using strength workouts so you not only lose the weight, but you have great legs and arms (maybe even a little ad action? :D who doesn't want tht??)
-Workouts that have worked for me: Jogging for ten minutes, stretch, lots of jumping jacks (normally I do 70-80), push-ups(try to do 20, or at least 10), situps (20-30), and end with five minutes of jogging.

-With food, you can have anything you want just in moderation. If you want cake, you casn have cake. Just have a small slice. But also make sure to fit in the healthy stuff too, but even the good stuff you have to watch how much you eat of it. Everything has to be in moderation.

burning fat is high repetition, low weight
