I need help figuring out what kind of haircut to get.(:

My hair is pretty thick, and its medium-length, I guess. It's naturally curly and I hate it, so I straighten it a lot. It'd be really helpful if someone could suggest a haircut/style to get that would look good on me. I prefer not to have super short hair, and I don't think my mom would let me get extensions. I plan on dying my hair(its brown right now), but I'm not sure if I just want to go darker, or have another color added. And I added a picture of me. Please help!(:

i would say keep the length but get more layers like you have in the front around the side

and you may look pretty good with a sideswept full bang

and sometimes it looks cute to just straighten sections of your hair and leave some a lil curly like that beach wave look

Choppy would mean you could get it more thinned out.

it wouldn't be as thick.

i'd say keep the length of your bangs cuz it looks cute on you. maybe thin your hair out just a bit towards the bottom of the hair, it'll make the top look like it has more volume which i think looks great. and maybe get a a chunk of hair colored something like platinum blonde. either your bangs or just a chunk of side hair, i think that'd look cool

Thanks. (:

This was a lot of help.

I like the two pictures from jessd a lot but I'm not sure if they would look okay on me or not.

Another thing with my hair is that I got a really bad hair cut at the end of last summer(I think the hairdresser razor-cut it or whatever its called)Ever since then, it flips out at the ends when I straighten it, even if I try to curl it under. It never happened before the bad cut. I've only had two hair cuts since then. The first time I got it cut and reshaped, and it stopped flipping up for a week or so, and then started again. The second time I just got a trim, and it didn't help at all. I've tried to use hairspray, and gel and things like that, but I still can't get it to stay straight at the bottom(or curl under). Does anybody know why its doing this and how I can fix it.? (:

this is cutee, it is a bit long, but the bangs are cute[;

and it could be that your ends are just dead from all the styling that you have done to it. try getting a bit more cut off your ends and it should help. otherwise you could use a staightening serum on your hair or straightening shampoo and conditioner[:
