how much is too much exfoliating?

For some reason, I'm a little OC when it comes to my skin's texture. I hate it when it feels rough and bumpy. I use a granulated soap plus lather up with loofah twice a day. It's lactic acid face wash and apricot scrub for my face then I use a toner afterwards. What's your take on this?

and over exfoilation will only make the bumpy lumpy worse

stick to a once or twice a day thing and use your hands to lather or a face sponge you are not suppost to use a loofa on your face. that skin is very sensitive and delicate and you don't want to end up with pre mature aging because you don't know how to care for it.

i would only exfoliate up to once a day and use a face exfoilatore. a dermatologist told me to use baking soda mixed with milk of magnesia it's a soft exfoilator and the magnesium is good for your skin. you mix it up to make a liquidy paste it's shouldn't be a paste more liquidy

thanks! I appreciate your advice. Let me point out though, that I only use loofah on by body and not on my face--that'll hurt! But yeah, perhaps I should go easy on scrubbing away from now on.
