When you start to get cramps, just pop a midol. or an advil, but dont take too many.

I agree with SamiGore...

my friend has the exact same problem.. so she just gets on the pill. and no tampons don't hurt... you just have to put it in correctly lol

wearing a tampon doesnt hurt. if you go to the doctors they can give you heavy strength pain killers that you can take while your on your period. however, for me, i cant take pain killers as i vomit them up (lush i know) - so i was put on the pill, this may be a good alternative for you if your mum aggrees, although it seems a bit extreme. it controls your hormones, meaning no mood swings near periods, it also stops the pain, it also makes your periods A LOT lighter, and i mean seriously, mine is REALLY light (although i was never that heavy to start with)

yeaaah.. hope i helped :) i used to suffer really bad.

btw if she wont let you do any of those, (your mum that is) i found the best cure for my stomache & back period pain was a hot water bottle on your back and front. XX

truthfully seeing a dr or even going to the health department (it's free) you can get on the pill and it really can help with the bleeding and the pain

a tampon can help absorb but if you are VERY heavy you can fill up a tampon (even a super) so keep an eye on it and it's a good idea *if your really heavy* to combo and wear a pad as well

the best thing to do would be to go to the doctorss, and he/she could put you on the pill. [:

I agree with everyone else to go to your doctor and see if you can get a birth control pill b/c they help to give you lighter periods.

Also, no, tampons do not hurt as long as you put in it correctly. They feel a lot better b/c they aren't as awkward and you can't even tell they are there. 8-| lol!
