hi :)

well from personal experience it does take around two months to get your hair light from very dark without causing alot of damage! i didnt think it was hard to redye it at all, you should just do it in stages - like increase the shade of hair dye slowly!

or you could have a 'bleach bath' done at the hairdressers and then they will dye it whatever colour you want it, but this can damage hair horribly!

i used to have dark dark dark brown hair almost black, and now its bleach blonde (lighter than my photo)

hope this helps & that hairstyle is lovely :)

i say go for it x

black dye's are harder to come back from because they put so much color into your hair and lifting that color you're not sure what hue may have been used to make the black some are more red some are more blue

it has steps to remove black faster w/o waiting for it to grow out

this is the first paragraph:

Removing black hair dye is very difficult. Most stylists agree that being patient and allowing the black dye to grow out of your hair is your best option. However, if you can't stand your black hair dye a day longer, there are some options available.

1) Use semi-permanent black hair dye

If you're experimenting with black hair, use a semi-permanent black when you dye it in the first place. Then you won't need to strip your hair at all, just wait a few weeks until the black washes out and you can start again.

Are you dyeing it semi or permanant? I dyed mine semi permanant from my brown hair and it took around four months to wash out to my natural colour!

I myself dont think the whole black and blonde together looks good, makes you look like you cant decide but if you like it go for it but I would talk to your hairdresser about it so you know exactly what your doing.

The simple answer; Yes, black hair is immensly hard to get rid of. As an extremely dark colour it'd take quite a while to take off.-.
