Problems styling fine hair?

I have fine hair. My hairstyle has lots of choppy layers. I use a texturizing(sp?) creme, but my hair doesn't look piecy at all. It just kind of looks blended. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. Do you know do it deal with it?

you can try using some mouse

and i would break out the flat iron and flip it outward a bit instead of going from left to right/horizontal i would aim the iron vertically so it makes the edges a lil more separate

Mousse, spray wax and light wax are your best friend. fine hair is usually difficult to style the way you are picturing it, only because it either falls, or it looks greasy from all the product build up. use a little bit of product and add more until you get the right look.

try cutting a little off the back and use some mouse. or styleing gel. that should take care of your problem

I have fine hair and I have short choppy layers on the top part of my hair.

When I blow dry it, I don't blow it any sort of way. I just put it over and let it go all fluffy, I run my hands through, lift up my layers etc. That makes my hair have a little poof then when I straighten it I aim the iron vertically to get it a bit more spacey.

Do you use shampoo/conditioner for fine hair? That could help as well. It boosts my hair up a lot.

I actually just bought Pantene volumizing shampoo for fine hair. I really like it so far. So you say that you flip your head over when you blow dry it?
