I want a new hair style but everything is related to straight haired girls, pleasse help?!

Okie, I have medium length, brown hair with faded blonde highlights. My hair is frizzy (at its worst in the humidity), wavy, and very thick. I've tried three different hair cuts, medium length in the back and longer in the front, shoulder length with layers, and extremely long. I've had this hair style for at least 4 years and I've grown very bored of it. I've gotten so many bad haircuts over the years that my hair is completely fried and butchered from all the straighten and as I said the terrible cuts. I am open to any suggestions please.

Btw sorry about the terrible picture of me, but it was the best way I could show you what I meant.

we have the same hair!!! Its hair right now is so fried its sad. I shouldve left it alone!! Try some good protein treatments to your hair to rebuild the strength. Why dont you try letting those curls show? They make some good mousses for curls...

embrace what God gave do have good hair...

let the color grow out for no more damage...maybe just do highlights ...

maybe use a mousse to enhance your waves/curls.

or maybe try a vitamin shampoo, it may put moisture back into your hair. :]

get your hair thinned out FOR SURE.

ask the hairstylist to get it thinned out.

they would use a thinning shears and take the thickness out of your hair

leaving your hair feels light and soft.

and it also helps with frizziness.

so defintely get your hair thinned out

so you wont get frizzy, thick hair!

ha : D

and for the other stufff

this is what you should do

first of all, dont shampoo your hair everyday.

it takes the natural oils out.

shampoo your hair once or twice a week.

conditon your hair everday though.

leave it on for at least an hour or so.

or you can leave it on overnight and sleep with it (wrapped in a towel)

and wash it in the morning.

makes your hair soo soft and helps with breakage, dry and damaged, frizzy hair.

do not use pantene or herbal (they have chemicals and waxes that isnt good for our hair)

use dove therapy or tressume! dove therapy has serum in there.

eat lots of healthy food.

red meat helps with hair growth

bananas, vitamins (vit c and b) helps with hair growth.

massage your scalp while washing your hair (helps with hair growth and increase blood cirulation)

do not brush your hair while wet, causes breakage and frizziness.

let it air dry. comb your hair with your fingers.

let it down and straight.

just keep conditioning your hair all the time to prevent damages and breakage.

if you straighten, use a heat protector spray (got 2b, tresumme).

to protect it from damages.

conditon, condition, conditon! :D

and good luck with your haircut.

hope it helped (:
